Hi There!

I’m Shannon Seniour!

I never thought hair would be my thing. It wasn’t till after my attempt in college that I decided I needed something more than a sit down job. I needed action! I began my career at A Cut Above beauty college and graduated in 1998. I started my 1st job at a high action, very successful salon in Broad Ripple.

Although I only worked there a couple years my knowledge of hair was expanded greatly with the education they provided and the amazing stylist that I had the opportunity to work with. I then moved around for a couple years and landed in owning my own salon. I owned Static salon for 10 years and wow it was an experience. Good and bad and I wouldn’t take it back because that salon, my clients, the employees and surrounding

people I had in my life during that time made me who I am today. Through the years of starting my career I was offered wonderful opportunities. I was able to work back stage with numerous big stylist that helped me soar in my career. Again being able to get some of the best education and having the wonderful clients trusting me to try new things. After closing Static I made a new home for myself in Greenwood to be closer to my family, and made it the home of my career and passion. I opened The Station Hair Parlor in 2017 as a single station salon. I decided to grow my space in 2019 to a 4 station operation. I love to come into my salon every day and love doing what I do. It’s a career and a passion and not just a job. I hope to see you soon so you can enjoy the things I love.

Kayla Price

Hey there! My name is Kayla Price I am from here in Indianapolis, Indiana! I recently graduated from the Aveda’s Fredric’s Institute this past September. I have been working at The Station Hair Parlor for a little over a year as an assistant while going through school. Working in the salon has gave me the opportunity to get my hands in the boutique & help with vendor events for both. This is something I love doing on the side! Getting out to connect with everyone and show you some of my favorite things is a different type of feeling.

Some of my favorite things outside of the salon are going to Brown County,fishing, going to concerts,and spend time with friends & family of course. I enjoy getting to connect with people. Being in this industry has an always been a dream of mine. Making people feel at your best and confident is an unbeatable feeling. We are all here to help to with your hair goals and get you feeling confident! Don’t be afraid to reach out and let’s get you in my chair!

My name is Katlyn! I have been doing hair for 11 years now. I Started my hair journey mainly in men’s cuts. In 2018, I joined a friend and co-owned The Barbershop successfully for 2 years. Unfortunately when the pandemic hit our small business, The Barbershop had to close. Since then I have been educating myself more on Women’s hair and doing more color than ever before. I love doing wedding/prom updos and would like to do more of them! I am excited to be working here at The Station Hair Parlor and can’t wait to see where this journey takes me!

Meagin Hurst

Hi! I’m Meagin and I am currently studying at Empire Beauty school to be a licensed cosmetologist! I have loved doing hair since I was little and being able to do this as my job has become a dream of mine! I have worked in The Station Hair Parlor as a receptionist for about a year now and I have oved being able to watch Shannon and Kayla and learn techniques from both of them. As a receptionist it has also taught me great customer service, how to create appointments and how to work in retail. I am so excited to start doing hair and making people feel like themselves again one hair appointment at a time!

In my free time I love hanging out with my friends and family, going to concerts, being in the sun either by the pool or the beach and reading! Being able to connect and make people feel good about themselves as a career is something I am really looking forward to in this industry. I can’t wait to get started and hopefully see you in my chair!! Until then you will see me working the front end at The Station Hair Parlor and our sister co Salty Woods.
